15 April 2008 -  David Tandy elected ChairmanDavid Tandy and John Allard

At the General Meeting held on April 15, David Tandy, Head of Business Development at Follett Stock Solicitors, was elected Chairman of the Truro Chamber of Commerce. Asked what his aspirations for the Chamber were, David said: "I would like to develop the Chamber of Commerce for all businesses including retailers, wholesalers, professional services and manufacturers to a level that makes a significant difference; so that when a business wants to come to Cornwall, they are instantly drawn to Truro as the premier site for any business, large or small.

We can only do this by having a large and vibrant membership and working with other bodies such as the Civic Society, BIDs and the Truro City Council in Partnership."
